Joanna Kawatra

Joanna Franco Kawatra is a first-generation Chicana born and raised in the South Bay. She studied politics and philosophy at CSULB, and got her masters at UCI. A political scientist (technically) by trade, she’s relatively new to the industry, but believes in telling the stories of her childhood and community, and fighting against oppression and racism through shared experiences. You can find her working as a freelancer in Orange County.
