Angelica López spends her time working as a finishing artist at Company 3, as well as a freelance editor for television and feature films. She is fluent in visual effects work and titling and has a strong foundation in DaVinci Resolve, Avid, Adobe Photoshop, Mocha Pro. López is known for her attention to detail and eagerness to tackle types of visual effects challenges that often accompany high-end finishing work. Her recent work includes online editing on high-profile projects including Little Fires Everywhere for Hulu, Dave on FX and The White Lotus for HBO.
Angelica López received her Master’s degree in Film Production from USC's School of Cinematic Arts with a concentration in editing. Prior to that, she graduated UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Film and Digital Media. López also edited a number of projects including an Emmy-winning show, Giants, for which she received a Best Editing nomination from the Indie Series Awards as well as a co-editor for, I'm Fine (Thanks For Asking), that recently had its 2021 world premiere at SXSW. López is a proud first-generation Latina whose parents emigrated from Mexico and always provided an excellent example and strong support for their daughter — the first member of the family to receive an undergraduate, then graduate, degree, who is currently working in her dream career.
